Not mine but a local guy, I have seen him at the drag strip a couple of times. It is very impressive to watch, you would think something that moves that fast would make more noise but its whisper quiet!

Has the smoke switch killed many map sensors? Seems it would make them fail easier to me? Then again I may be wrong. Inform me. I think it would be cool to have if used right and not done for stupid reasons.

Got a little over 90,000 miles with my smoke switch... The only thing I can say is that over usage is not good on your turbo. All that black smoke isn't just made in the exhaust. All that junk is going through your engine too

And all that black smoke went through the brain of the driver behind me that chose to tail gate me so close I could not see the roof of the car or anything else! Even when I let off the fuel and the brake engaged all I could see was the headlights of the car dip as he/she braked.
Tap of the switch and JAMES BOND would've been proud.

Never saw the car again as it backed waaaaaaay off. I do believe I avoided getting rear ended by a rally driver. One point for the positives of having "The Switch"

Ok thanks for answering my question. Guess I will look up the switch idea and get to building one.

Thanks you all.

Thats gotta be my favorite use.. I watched a guy on a crotch rocket whipping in and out of traffic till he got on my rear. He was so close that I could not see him out the rearview. Needless to say he backed way off. WAY OFF. I think he had to stop and clean off his mask

Now that is a proper use of the switch!
