Smoke from engine
Turbo charged replaced by dealership under warranty. Now i have smoke coming from engine on the passanger side. The smoke sometimes is bad. other times just a little. i seem to only see this when im at a stop light or turn the truck off. when i get out to envestagate the smoke is already gone and i cant find the cause. i brought it back to the shop and they rechecked everything and thought is was from resedue from the workers. Dodge dealers could not get it to smoke. it does not smoke all the time. anyone have a clue on what could cause this? i will have it back to the dealer in the morning but want to mabe help them locate the cause.
thanks for any help.

Residual oil, or maybe even a leaky exhaust connection. If you pop the hood and look in by the turbo can you see soot around the exhaust connections? You might see some wetness around the oil lines that could indicate a loose fitting too. It should be fairly easy to spot if you look around with a flashlight.

Last week Dodge Dealership re-checked all torques on the system. Dodge has the truck right now so i will wait to get it back. Hopefully they will be able to find it. Thanks for the reply.
