Ok, so I've done the deletes and have the Smarty Jr ME installed, stock settings. I'm curious to try the 40 and 70 hp settings, but when I go through the software, I only see X, STOCK, TOWING, 3 PERFORMANCE. I'm a computer savy guy, but can someone explain this to me?

What is X?
Obviously stock is stock, but I don't see a 70 hp setting. Is 3 Performance the 100 hp setting? I guess I could load them all and try, but I want to be sure of what I've programmed into the ecm before its done. Any other Smarty Jr owners that can assist me?

X - setting that returns ECM to stock, unlocks smarty from your vin.

Stock - no horsepower or timing or torque management change, but dpf delete will still be fine, and egr will be commanded to 0%

Economy - 40hp, timing change, torque management change etc.
(should be listed if you have 21ME)

Towing - 70hp, timing change, torque management change, etc.

Performance - 100hp, timing, torque change, etc.

Smarty does not seem to have the best instructions or literature, but the **** thing works, so it is hard to complain.

Thanks for the info. Loaded up the economy and towing tune. I can't really imagine towing at the 70 hp setting (tow tune) and not wrecking something. Sure smokes the tires though. Have the economy tune loaded and will try that. Actually I like the stock setting as well, that way I'll know I won't/should'nt wreck anything.

The smarty is an amazing product!!!

Always nice to run and try them all starting with stock as a good reference. Stock without Smarty and will are not quite the same as you have experienced.

It does seem a bit odd that the towing is the next to highest setting...
