Marco covered this on another forum and I'm glad he chimed in here... but as has been stated, the 6.7 is a whole new ballgame in terms of ECM.
H&S also chimed in when someone tried to claim that the XRT is untraceable... it is not. As of yet, no one is marketing a 6.7L programmer as untraceable.
I guess MADS won't be losing much of their business now when no one is marketing an untraceable 6.7L programmer eh???

The new ECMS all have "adaptive learning" where its learning from the changes seen on performance etc that it monitors. Change up some of the parameters with the uploader and the ECM "learns" the affect of the new settings.. This is the way it was explained to me anyway.

A programmer on the other hand will let the ECM see the true value of the parameters, but the code being used does set a code since it doesn't interpret the values as out of bounds.
But in either case, we are definitely much closer to there being nothing that is truly undetectable.

The constraint is the ECM Logic, not the smarty programmer....Dodge (and Chevy / Ford) changed the rules with ECM logic....so you wont be able to get any programmer that's "undectable"....
Marco was / is honest (not necessiarly common in industry)...and that's just one of the reasons he has such a fan base...
And what would marco loose 50-70% of his market too? If there's no "undectable" alternative, then i suppose people will just do without? Agree some will, but as you should know having been in the game since 94...these trucks are night and day different with a power adder, and thats a complellng reason to take some risk...especially if you own a house in the bahamas...the truck is chump change.

guys if "undetectable" is what you want.
1. leave it stock
2. buy a 2nd ecm, mod the crap out of it and if you have any issues swap it back to the factory one. Dmax guys do it I don't know why Cummins guys can't.

Hey ADMIN you can buy your stuff from Larry, he will even ship free....
I'll get it elsewhere and be able to afford the shipping, if I want one or 2 or 10....
I will wait for the first few series of bugs to be worked out...though.
