Just deleted my '08 two weeks ago (smarty Jr, full exhaust deletes, egr tube blocked, EGR plunger removed & plugged back in, EGR cooler & throttle valve unplugged, everything per the list on here. Smarty is on the towing setting.

Drove it last weekend 200 miles, no issues, today drove it to work (30 miles) & running down the road 60 mph, tow haul setting, ex brake on, it chimed twice out of nowhere.

No codes, no overhead messages, nothing out of the ordinary.

So any ideas ?? (Yes my seat belt was on !)

I do have different tires, so the tpms light stays on. Would that throw a chime 1/2 hour into a trip ? It didn't last Sunday when we ran for 90 minutes at a time down the interstate.

So.......what now ??????????

Sounds like the TPMS to me. I got the same chime a couple times when I was trying (many times) to get the light load setting to work.

 

Mine does it too
