Question on deletes
This has probably been asked before, but, instead of removing the Regen unit, why not take it off, hollow it out like we used to do to the catalytic converters, and put it back on with it disabled?
Seems to me that no one would be able to tell if they were doing emission inspections.
The H&S unit is going to disable the regen function anyway, and will work with it completely removed.
Any ideas guys?

I see no reason why this would not work. I suspect that the biggest reason for NOT doing this is the reason I will hang on to my DPF, NOX canister, and cat equipped down pipe, as well as all my EGR parts- so that when EPA gets enough enforcement teeth to make me put that junk back on, I won't have to pay through the nose to get the parts from the dealer and be able to trade the truck off for something that I can afford to drive. I just did the deletes and my mileage went from 13 to 19 not to mention the additional power.

Blake you live in Texas, have you heard of anyone actually checking emission equipment when they do the state inspection?
I have never had anyone crawl under my truck. I know my last truck had the catalytic converter fall off and I never replaced it.
I want to delete mine, just like you, I am waiting to see what Smarty does. Mine is a 2010.

I dont live in Texas, but have been working here for the last year. I think some counties do testing, some dont.
