E Brake after deletes, question
I finally finished with the Mega style deletes and MBRP downpipe and DPF delete straight pipe into dual 5 1/2" miter cut chrome stacks on my 08. Thanks to everyone who gave me guidance and suggestions to help the rookie get a clue about Cummins performance.
I now have what I think is an issue with my Exhaust brake though, prior to the exhaust and deletes my EB sounded like a jake brake with a nice rumble. Since doing the mods there is no more rumble, it is more like a whining or whistling noise when I activate the EB. As soon as I hit the accelerator pedal i hear the rumble again but only for a split second.
Has anyone ever heard of this issue before? Any ideas how to fix it? I really miss the rumble!

normal. remember all that garbage you just removed was choking things out. now its free and clear, you can hear what is going on. can't do anything about it other than re-install the old OEM exhaust but that is going backwards.

Thanks, that is kinda what I figured but thought I would ask.
Didn't you find a plug or programmer to increase the fluid pressures in your transmission?
How is that working?

I know this thread is a week old, but just curious... did the air temp in your area go down at about the same time? I know I'll get that same noise on my truck sometimes when it's cold and I engage the EB. And my truck is stock.
