Pulled the trigger!!!

Alright! I can't wait! Just bought my new exhaust and tuner! Went with a 5" straight pipe and the S-67 ME. Now I am going to have to learn how to sleep again as I wait for this stuff to come in. Barring anything crazy, I should be enjoying a new truck come Sunday!

Congrats! It will be an entirely different truck! In fact, it will even smell like a diesel...

It is best that you did this now and not put if off any longer or put yourself through anymore anguish waiting for such a gift to come. I'm excited for you . We'll be waiting to hear how it goes.

Ok, got the programmer on, and have disabled the EGR. I have noticed a slight increase in mileage, on the liar, not hand calculated yet since i haven't had to buy fuel. Nice option. I am still waiting on the exhaust, hasn't come in yet, but I was wondering, my overhead went from 16-16.5 to 18.5 without the exhaust. Can I expect another jump in mileage when the TBE gets put on? Thanks guys.

When you say you have not replaced the exhaust, are you still running the dpf with the ME version of the software?

It's funny how someone can believe that something is going to be the way it is... (I know that sounds convoluted) but not understand it. When everyone said I was going to love the way the truck drove with all the deletes and the smarty, I belived y'all, just didn't quite understand. Well, got the exhaust on (after running with just the down pipe for half a day cause the garage I was working in closed) and holy freakin cow, I am floored. I have never driven anything that could break the tires loose at 35 and still tow a house. The wife complains cause every time she looks down she's speeding. HA! Anyways, I've gotten where I want it, for now. The mileage has gone up significantly and the driveability has gone up. That's not saying the driveability was anything but great already. All I have left on the short list is an RDS tank/toolbox combo, and rails for my 5er hitch. Thanks for the help and encouragement. Now... VOTE REPUBLICAN!
