Your gonna love it, Changes the whole truck.

Your right, Id drop some serious coin on a new tranny, converter, and flywheel if its made to take some abuse.

Then Id go slap crazy under the hood.

(My Son Help with what he could)The hardest part was the cross member so I could drop the Down Pipe. Then getting it back in. for the most part it was a Good Weekend. Tonight I download the Smarty ME I cant wait to get it on the road.

What settings are you running ramble bee? Have you done a CAI yet? The turbo is sweet when you can hear it. And, the Smarty wakes it up.

ramble bee, do you hear the turbo more? There were some major flow restrictions in that stock tube... Not really sure if getting more air to the stock filter is going to help much in the performance department. Need to get that air into the motor... Cooler the air the better no matter what the system or restrictions.

mega-engr,

What I did was put in one of my K&N filters laying around in the shop( The deep ones) Then pull the rubber air channel on the passenger side of the radiator off. that way air could get to the box. That's with a hole saw opening in front. You can Hear it!

Ramble,

If you were to pull off the stock tube, youd see just what mega is talking about. its full of insulation (foam) and air flow Guiding contraptions that its a wonder that the turbo gets any air at all...

I went with the aFe Stage 2 and was amazed at the amount of whistle you get.

Not everyones cup of tea, but I love it.
