A Petition to MADS
Dear Marco,
We, a group of loyal and grateful Smarty users, and frequent members of the Diesel Truck Resource, have a request.
It is known that the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) utilized on the 2008 and new vehicles is often known to be faulty, cumbersome to adjust, and quite often unreliable.
We, as responsible vehicle owners and maintainers know and acknowledge the serious nature of proper tire pressure settings and maintenance.
We, as responsible vehicle owners and maintainers, seek to be able to monitor the pressure of our vehicles tires without the aid of the often faulty, TPMS.
So, it is requested, by us, that an option be implemented, if possible, in the setting of the Smarty Programmer, that would either allow for the complete disabling, or the modifications of the parameters of the TPMS. This setting would allow for a complete disable of the system, or modifying the pressures which trip the warning system and warning lights.
With Utmost Respect, and Great Appreciation,
The Undersigned,
