Has anyone just taken the muffler off of their 6.7L? I really dont want to mess with anything else on the exhaust system, but wouldnt mind the truck just being a tad bit louder. I was just thinking about unclamping it and putting a straight pipe there. Will this cause problems with the DPF or DOC?

The muffler is a straight through design and taking it off probably won't make a difference. The cats and DPF is the biggest restriction for noise.

Made absolutely no difference whatsoever in sound, power, or economy. The ONLY thing you will notice with a muffler delete on an otherwise stock 6.7L is a lighter wallet.
