How much increase in noise after deletes?

Guys,
I was wondering how much louder the exhaust and exhaust brake are after the deletes? I was hoping it would not be a whole lot louder.

What are you guys experiences? What companies are the best to get the delete pipes from?

Lastly, exactly what kind of real world increases in fuel milage are y'all seeing? Sorry about all the questions.

Taz

It wont be much louder with a 4" into the factory muffler/tailpipe.

What are you looking for, full turbo back, just the DPF NOX????

Before the 35" Toyo's I could claim 5mpg increase, now its down about two or so for an overall gain of 2 to 2.5

Running the ME software yes, just unplug the cooler and secure the loose end of the plug.

what about the egr valve assembly? the whole thing is sitting on my garage floor right now. Was I suppose to leave this actuator plugged into the harness? I have the egr block off plate installed and the ME program loaded

EGR valve assembly can be replaced by the blockoff plates. Just make sure that the brown servo motor (the part with the plunger that was removed) remains plugged in and just zip tie it outta the way.

im curious about a thread that i was reading on a different forum about the egr acting as a wastegate for the turbo. The stock turbo does not come with a wastegate? Your thoughts on this?

Thanks again for the help

I do not believe that the 6.7's have any type of waste gate. Have not heard of the cooler working as waste gate.

I think that the EGR is pre-turbo and a waste-gate is post turbo.
