Open your hood and take a look. I do not know what the part number is for the 2010+ filter element.

Only issue I sometimes have is taking off the filter cap. Im afraid I am going to strip the hell out of the plastic nut with my socket. Dealership puts it on super tight. I change my air and fuel filter every oil change. Roughly every 5000miles

A good parts-person should be able to give us some parts numbers to retrofit this top load unit..

I like how they put the tabs on there to prevent somebody from using an adjustable wrench on it.

Yeah, I did quote that pic again.

Holy macaroni, $722 for a retro fit? I might just have to go with an Air Dog or something. I'd sure like to meet that engineer who designed the fuel filter setup on the 07.5 to 09 in a dark ally someplace. I can't even start to imagine replacing the filter when its plugged and you're sitting on the side of the highway at -30 in a snowstorm and the engine won't run.

Bad design Dodge, bad design.

from what I have gathered, some online wholesalers are selling @ 10% over cost but some are hit and miss.

Sounds like more #2 in the arm pit

They had the perfect set-up with the 5.9 metal housing / plastic cap, keep a spare cap and you was safe..

They call that progress right?
