EGR Delete Kit and Tuner, Which One?

I have a 2007 Dodge 3500 Quad cab 4x4 I just turned 100,000 miles, runs like a champ. Bought it used and looking into the H&S Mini tuner with the egr delete kit and turbo back exhaust. Which exhaust would be a good one, I've seen a couple but will the difference be worth the cost?. I know I cannot stand that stupid egr valve. Also heard that certain tuners are running the engines hot but the H&S has some good reviews. Anyone out there know of a good place to get them and what you have experienced? Please help.

You can buy from James at Rolling Smoke Diesel a web site supporter.
I am using MBRP 5" TBE system, with EGR blocking plates and a Smarty S67 ME23 software.

DTR also had a store and there is no better customer service than Top!

I'm running a 5" turbo back on my 11 and love it.

James at RSD is my 2nd favorite place to send money.

I second the DTR store. DTR has incredibly fast shipping and awesome prices. If there's any warranty issues, Top will hook ya up

I personally went with the Smarty Jr on my 08 6.7 with MBRP stainless 5" turbo back with H&S Delete kit. Could not b e happier with fit, finish, performance and sound. Only issue is that it is REALLY difficult to find 5" anything for exhaust if you want to do tweaks or mods but there is 4" everywhere.

Auto or manual. If auto H&S also has trans tuning available. If manual it's a toss-up. I really liked my Smarty SR on my '08, but I hate having a paper weight sitting in my closet, waiting for "soon" to get here. Which is why I placed an order for an xrt pro last week.

Welcome to my world. Waited and waited and waited and... well you get the point.

H&S has far surpassed my expectations, and I only drove my truck for a week. Cant wait to get back home and run it again. 2.5 more weeks.

Will have the new DD Clutch in by that time too. Should be fun!

We've got pricing specials happening with H&S right now so Christmas is a good time to shop. You can find the H&S stuff here:

Main store page here:

Our number is 877-375-1956. If you can't find it in the store or have a question, give Lary a call. We will definitely take care of you and make sure you get off on the right foot.

If you go with the XRT then its basically just hook it to the OBDII port..... the mini or black maxx it is basically as simple aside from a wee bit of time and effort to run the wires for power from the fuse panel and fish the HDMI cable up to your chosen mounting location and drill and tap the hole for the pyro probe.....took me and a buddy an hour or 3 with time to stop occasionally and sip on a refreshing beverage if you catch my drift
