Is a DPF delete necessary after seeing dyno sheets

My 08 has 8000 miles on it and I mainly want to give it a burly sound. Intake is my first thought. Will I get anymore noise if I remove the factory muffler. That 6.7 is a little to quite for me. Hate to pay for all the deletes just for a good sound. Thanks for any advise.

No, if you do a muff delete, you are just throwing your money away. I did one on an 07.5, and you could not even tell the difference.

The muffler is a straight through flow type. All the "noise" is trapped in the cat con and DPF.. Remove and enjoy!

And then, even straight piped its considerably quieter than a 5.9 common rail.
