Doing the deletes..stock exhaust or 5 inch
I am doing the deletes thursday ( can't even sleep ) and my plan is to stick with stock intake and exhaust with the edge juice with attitude. I like it quiet and I am concerned with my egt's with the smaller exhaust.

5" doesn't make a huge difference in EGTs over 4" at the HP level your talking about. If noise is a concern go 4" w/ a strait through muffler, although 5" isn't loud, I think there's more of a drone in most cases.

5" exhaust with no cat and no muffler is loud, nothing too loud or unbearable.
Just by doing the 5" turbo back exhaust, compared to the stock setup was a huge change. Then, when I recently added a muffler delete pipe, it changed even more.
I am very pleased with the 5" straight pipe exhaust though, it meets my sounds tastes very nicely.

D45, the 6.7 sounds completely different from a 5.9. I thought mine sounded like crap with a 4" straight through system so I just put a 5.9 CAT on it to make it a bit quieter and get rid of the drone I got from the H&S 4" delete system. It worked pretty well....

Cool Man! My truck still runs great but for some reason mine feels like it lost power after doing the deletes. I can't figure it out but since my mileage went up so much I may not worry about it....

5 inch it will be fine. a 6.7 has 350hp anyway and if you do some mods it will have 450 so I would be fine. 4" on a common rail is too raspy anyway it sounds goofy
