Angry deletes and new exhaust vibration/noises

Since the turbo back 4" delete pipes were installed the exhaust vibrates violently, mainly at idle. The muffler & tailpipe are stock. The tailpipe vibrates so bad at idle you can see it move side to side about an inch. Any thing moving that much and that fast is got to be bad.It just started making a new high pitch whine while idling. It became so annoying I took it to a muffler shop to add another mount. They added the new mount near the front , ( where the cat was). Now it has a new lower pitch noise. It can even be felt it in the cab until the throttle is touched , then gone. Now I am going back to add another extra mount near the rear to see what that dose.If I push against the tailpipe it's gone. I know the new exhaust is probably 100 lbs. lighter than stock so maybe that's a factor. Maybe I should bolt some heavy steel to it and see what that dose. Anyone else have this problem, any ideas?

If than you hold the tailpipe and it stops, I would think and check to see if the exhaust is touching the body or frame under the truck somewhere. The high pitch wine is the turbo I would bet now you don't have a cat or dpf to quiet it down you can hear it more.

I was at tires plus today, and they looked at it too. It isn't touching the body or frame. The whine also isn't the turbo because it's gone if I touch the exhaust. I think the rubber mounts are making the noise because of the excessive high speed movement at the tailpipe.

I had this same problem. Tried removing hangers and adding hanger..no help. After reading several threads on this forum and others, i had my local muffler shop build and add a 15 inch resonator (short muffler) and had it mounted as close to the down pipe as possible. It did reduce that vibration to nearly zero and reduced some exhaust noise. I can't see where it has effected performance. I do have a straight through muffler also and it is located just forward of the rear axle. It is a after market muffler that the same muffler shop added when i deleted. I'm pretty happy with this set up. Good luck. Happy New Year. The wife and i are heading to southwest Arizona. Will be towing the 5th wheel. We went last year and the truck was stock, this year should be better on power and fuel.

With my delete pipe from the CAT flange to the stock muffler, I don't notice anything at idle standing still. When I put it in reverse and then let it idle out of the driveway, I do feel and hear some exhaust vibration. Does not do this at idle moving forward though... Otherwise, it sounds normal for me.

I really don't know why yous would be vibrating so much though sorry.

I took off the clamp & replaced The rubber with 2 new ones.
There was enough room for both.
