cowboy wants hp)what would give me the best performance out of my 2007.5 cab& chassis

Howdy!*
I purchased a 2007.5 dodge cab&chassis. I'm wanting to tune it up maybe a program on it and what ever else I need. I pull a 32ft stock trailer and I also pull a 34ft living quarters horse trailer, it's pretty heavy when loaded. I've heard that the best things for these old trucks is a cold air intake? Then some has said a program would be better? I'm wanting
Hp but I don't want to do anything to mess up the transmission. I don't even know what type of trans. All I know it is a automatic! is in this truck.
I've heard that a cab & chassis is a little different from the regular trucks. I just would like this truck to pull good up hills.I was in east tenn. Right after I bought it a Toyota pulling a uhaul pass me like I was still! I do know needs some work done on it! Its weak.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know?

A set of deletes ( DPF, EGR, CAT) and a delete capable tuner and an intake........ that's the usual setup to give more power and better MPGs.

Not always.....Just find the right place to go. The diesel inspection is subjective to the tech doing the inspection.

I would love to find the right place to go. Actually, in Southern California, it seems to have gotten worse over the past couple years. Used to be all visual with the inspection and smoke test. Now, they hook up to OBD II... Any suggestions for the Inland Empire?
