Code Issue "See dealer now" ?
I have a 08 ,3500 , 6.7 with deletes completed when purchased two years ago. Only recently I now have a repeating message in the overhead display that reads "see dealer now Maint. required. I should mention that there is no check engine light and truck runs great. Took it to the dealer to clear this repeating chime and display they tell me it came up that the odometer display is bad and they don't offer those anymore for the 08 model. Charged me about $60 and sent me out the door. Problem I have with that claim is that the dash display works fine with all indicators working as designed. Anybody seen this goofy problem solved would sure appreciate it.
