new truck I know I have been doing a lot of city driving. In the last 2000-3000 miles i have regenerated 4 times now. Is this unusual? i have unplugged the egr only up until now.

 

No that is typical for stop and go.

 

Comlete or attempted?

You would get a lot better mpg if you let it complete when the attempts are made and it was also attempt a lot less.

 

How do you know it is regen'ing? mine hasnt notified me of anything yet.

 

You need a Gauge that will tell you like the Scout:

Or the new Adrenaline or something.

I am really considering making a stand alone DPF gauge! It is badly needed but, it will also interfere with almost all the power adders available now. I guess it could be really handy for stock trucks too though?
