Hello all , and thanks in advance for the insight. I have recently bought a 09 DRW 3500 with a 68RFE. When cold it doesn't up shift thru all the gears for a mile or so. It seems to stay in 4 gear or so at 60 MPH taching about 2K RPM. Is this normal? Thanks again.

 

Yes, that is normal. I think the engine needs to be something like 120F before it is allowed to shift into the overdrive gears...
