Ok, the neighbor has a 6.7L and wants to get some more power for it. So, since he has no clue what a forum is and he buys all his stuff through the local offroad shop, I told him I would track down the chip or programmer for him and save him a ton of money. He tows a Atv toyhauler camping trailer (10.5K lbs) and needs to get better towing mileage and better commuter mileage.

So what is out there for this thing?

What do you recommend and Why?

 

ts performance has a mp-8 out it adds 100hp and 200lb torque. Bully dog has a programer out but they are waiting on shipping them out. Edge has a juice with attitude but it won't be out until july or so. My buddy has the ts performance he said it has help his fuel mileage out a bunch and give it pretty good power.

 

So is ts a programmer?

 

If you like your neighbor, you might want to tell him that the impact on the DPF is unknown as it's so new.....but speculating....more fuel = more particles = less life on the nice expensive DPF and more regens....
