the donaldson number for the resonator to put in front of the 51" is m090072

Just get a 4" system with a muffler. No Drone. If you're really worried about your EGT's, get a better turbo.

5" is not needed until you reach a LOT of HP.

Flo Pro 5 inch straight piped on my truck and no drone. Gave it just the tad little sound it needed since they thing is so quiet to begin with.

I had the same problem and a vibration, pulled the FloPro alum. and installed the 5" stainless. Never looked back! Think it is the Magnaflow, worth the extra few dollars. Thanks James @RSD for the great service.

FTE diesel also makes a resonator specifically for eliminating this drone and I've read great success. They make a standard size (believe it is 15" or 17") and they make a 30" as a means of replacement for the generic muffler or muffler delete pipe that comes with the 5" TBE. I have an AeroTurbine 5050XL in line on my 5" TBE and it still has much more in cabin noise than I would like so I intend to install the FTE resonator in front of the Aero muffler. I just need to give Wally at FTE a call and see whether he thinks the short one will suffice or if I should try and squeeze the 30" one in front of the Aero.
