362 vs 366 or 467 turbo

I am working on pop's 6.7 again, running into excessive EGT issues. An aftermarket 62 mm turbo and stainless 2nd gen style manifold were added to try and help on the heat, and so far it is still unsatisfactory. We were looking at compounds, (adding an S475) but are now looking at putting an off the shelf Borg Warner 66/74 .91 AR P# 177275 on as a big single.
I am looking at issues like flow, spool, heat, and expected life time. I am also considering S300 vs the S400 like Blake runs. I think he is using an S467.

Any advice on a good path here is appreciated. Expected use is almost always pulling a goose neck with 6 to 10k on it or at a minimum a heavy plow and 1200 lbs of concrete ballast. Truck is occasionally (read rarely) driven empty. The goal is to have enough air to really lean on the throttle through several gears without it going over 1250*. Once there is enough air, we will use MCC tuning to fine tune the truck.

Get in touch with DTR member MIKE HOLMEN, he has built lots of turbo setups, he will know what to do with them or who to get in contact with regarding a proper functional setup

i would stay away from compounds unless your ready to redo the bottom end along with the upgrade stay with a single just get it built right and it will spool fast enough as far as egts go a good intercooler and proper piping will drop them to where you wont even look at them hardly anymore. side note tho my truck pulled better with the vgt on it imo but i will say that once it gets spooled up its ok
