Thumbs up 366 spring & smokey pin

Got it done and it is sweeeeet, it made a world of difference. For those of you like myself who feel you cant do it on your own, find someone who can help you and go by the sticky; it's worth it. The only thing we had to do was adjust the TPS afterward. It's amazing, while I had my foot in it injoying the moment, I was already thinking about injectors. I guess there's no turning back now.

Thanks guys for the all the support and info.

Hello, I plan on trying to do the spring and fuel pin in a month or so when it warms up. Did you need to get a gasket set to replace the pump top gasket or is it reuseable? Also what did you have to do to the TPS? Thanks

I have reused the pump top gasket on several trucks with no leaks.

The pump top gasket is reusable. However, it's not a bad idea to replace the throttle shaft seal. I didn't, and I haven't had any problems yet, but it's not too hard to do.

Adjustment procedure for the TPS is here: http://www.piersdiesel.com/Tech1GTPS.htm

I did get a gaskit kit just in case but I didn't need it. It cost about $20.00 plus shipping. The the volts to the TPS ended up being to high after the 366 spring and it would'nt shift into od. The adjustment is easy and it's in the sticky.
