Is there any noticeable gains in performance ?

 

Some see a slight gain mostly, I think, from unplugging the EGR which will advance the timing a bit. I did not notice any power gain but the truck sounds much better and mileage is way up......
I have a Rokktech crank timing sensor on mine which gave me a bit of extra bottom end power. Since I already had that on the truck I think that is why I did not feel the power gains some others are seeing..

 

Thanx Zilla, I can't wait to do it, as I log about 350 km / day plus I am a power junky.

 

There are plenty of products on the market that will help you get your fix.. I would have the truck lose some weight first though.....
