For those of you that own the '07/'08's, there used to be plastic tie-down cleats in each corner of the truck bed. It looks as if they replaced those with a metal loop in each corner or at least, that is what I have. Is this correct or are they some sort of option or did they leave they them off mine? I had them on my other 2 trucks and found them to be pretty handy. There is still a blurb about them in the manual. Just curious more than anything.

I have the cleats in my 07 but although they feel like plastic I think it's more like aircraft aluminum. They hold up just fine....

 

I have them on my 07 5.9, but my buddy has a 08 6.7 and he doesn't. From the trend of the posts it seems 6.7 did away with them.
