It is a 1-2004 3500SRW
If you had a couple injectors hanging open at times, what would you do out side of a warrenty claim?

edit: #2 and #5 cyl's are the problematic ones,, exactly 360* from each other I think, if that matters
The DRB3 will only tell me they are off by 6-10% at idle, it wont let me look at the "under load" spec's for some reason,, ((guessing the problems on 2 and 5 oh and the oil levels growing, so I stopped driving it, and am going to go get a 7 micron fuel filter before this is done
BTW new dealer injectors are (my cost) almost $500 a pop.I put this in the HP section cause I figured someone might want to just recomend and aftermarket place to go for a cleaning and CC'ing them, if this thread needs to be moved , go for it
Contact On of the F1 reps....they charge $100 per injector to fix if you are buying a set of their nozzles for $1100 to 1200 a set...All the injectors are checked and flow matched....Get a set of Flux 1's $1300 and all the injectors are fixed, checked out and good to go. Or get two new injectors for $1000 and the other 4 will calve. ks
sen them to don m and dont worry he will fix them better and cheaper than the dealer. In my opinion dont do the 7 micron filter go 2 micron a little more money but a lot better filter setup
Thanks for the input guys
But I think I fixed it by tightening the fuel line adapters that travel thru the head , they taper seat into the injector, and I think they were leaking. I wont be able to completely confirm it untill Wed. when I can check it on the DRB3 again, but the missfire seems gone.
Courious, I kinda doubt it but is there a special tool out there that will fit the cylinder #2 line adapter w/o pulling the intake plenium plate?
wazz
BTW: this is looking to be a stock fix so, I think it is in the wrong section.

I had earlier found loose injector lines that fixed that problem, this (the problem i asked about) felt like the same symptom (like a bad plug wire on a gas rig,,
After messing with the injectors for a while, I bought an OTC Genesis, and I found a bad torque converter (it has a good test for that, confirmed with a like truck).
I had the same symptom after a "$1000" "parts only" (under, warranty rebuild), it still didn't work right. (fawkers, they didn't replace the T-Converter)
It took months for me to figure it out for sure,, a new converter, was needed and the shop who just "rebuilt it again" spent a week deciding to finally try what I knew would cure the problem using the scan tool, the dealer update seems to help todays shifting also, it is a 1-of 04.
