You Asked For It!!

Well we went ahead and put it together do to the many requests.

Double disc clutch strictley for the street...

You can get this with any plate load we offer

3250 lb
3600 lb
3850 lb
4200 lb

This clutch should not be used to sled pull but will offer a smooth DD clutch that will hold some serious power.

I'll vouch for SBC DD's, and for the company. Peter ALWAYS takes good care of his customers, and his product is top of the line. I'll never get rid of mine...

sooo
Im putting in a clutch at Mikes in northwood ND soon
we were gonna put in an OFE
I dont want an FE because I tow a lot and dont like backing a heavy trailer with the FE
we decided against a DD because of chatter and daily driving

Is this what I should be going with?????

you can see by my sig that i may be maxing out an OFE
especially if I stack an MP8 like I want to

I would say yes, you will tear the crap out of the OFE with that setup. I bought the FE first, ruined it, then stepped up. Peter made me a great deal, and I wished like heck I'd gone with a DD in the first place and saved the trouble...

SBC pedal pressure

I am moving up a some in my BOMB-ing with a future mods including exhaust, turbo, and Banks techni-cooler. I just visited SBC website and was wondering about the pedal pressure descriptions. What is moderate pedal pressure compared to stock? For me it is not a problems but the wife is very petite and I wish to get as much clutch as I can without making it too uncomfortable for her to drive. Also what is the engagement like on the DD clutches. We primary use this vehicle as a tow vehicle for a large boat approximately 8500 with trailer, wet and gear. We are also looking into a large fifth wheel.
