Yay, Upgrades At Browns Diesel Friday
The truck just need more pressure. As for these truck getting that over-boost code.... it's a pain. I HATE that code (also under-boost). The problem with tossing on a boost fooler, it can sometimes lead to the under-boost code. I'd really like to see if Marco can eliminate that code. I know a lot of people with turbos will love to see that. It's one of those things that are going to be put on his list. lol. Marco has been insanely busy with everything else going on.
I pretty much drive like a grandpa. I'm pretty easy on my truck. I've ridden in Joey's truck (brown's did most the work on that one). He has TNT and an Edge EZ + Brown's transmission. I'm impressed with it. It sits you back in the seat pretty good for mild mods. 550-600 should have you grinning ear to ear, especially with a built auto.
. But it will be someday the funds will allow it too
. How do you like the turbo so far? Those are some pretty impressive numbers.
I love it, spools quick (they said a little bit faster once I get some miles on it). Has a nice whistle to it. Oh and we kept poppin the little reminder on the intake tube (it tells you when you air filter is dirty). Soon as the turbo spooled up it would pop it. With both the AEM filter and a AFE unit (of the same size). So they hooked me up with a AFE unit. I think he took it off his truck. haha It's HUGE. compaired to the old AEM unit.
Yeah got to have enough air getting to that turbo. That is good, as long as the customer is happy. Reb and Erick are both great guys who have done most of the work on my truck. Plus, the knowledge they have is just outrageous, if that makes any sense.
