Xzillaraider XZT Towing Module

I am thinking about getting Quads 65hp module for the mileage increase. Have any of you 06-6spd guys bought this box and notice an increase in mileage? I have also heard that the 06's are turned up and by adding a box I run a high risk of messing my injectors and or other problems, is this right or wrong? My last question is how does this module connect to the truck and will the dealership know I had it in there? Sorry for all the questions but I am new to the 3rd gen.

Xzt

I do not know about an 06 but I had an xzt on my 04. It is a good application if you are trying to get one buy a service dept. Because you just unplug it an pull it out no one can argue if it was there or not. The XZTplugs into the map sensor and fuel pressure sensor i belive, and changes signal between engine and ECM. So the ECM never know's there is a chip . thus when unplugged and removed it will not come up on any diagnostic searches. Quad makes a great product and I was very happy with XZT for normal driving and towing.

Aren't they like $300? Is the gain worth the cost if I plan on keeping the truck?

Thank you for all the replies to my questions and I am pretty sure I will buy one soon. $300 is a good deal on one and I will be buying it from our DTR Store to help support the site that I have been on for several years now at no cost to me.

Thanks for your support! But be sure you either call or PM for "Member price" before placing the order. The price you see in the store is NOT the DTR member price
