Xzillaraider Race
Had to go to Quads yesterday so I upgraded my Xzill. std for a race. The same hp settings feel like they have nothing in common between the 2. (remember this is how my truck feels, on some the std might feel better) Between the new 100hp setting and my boost elbow it feels like a different animal, and it really feels wild on the 140hp setting. I've been really careful about running on the 140hp setting because my boost (who before the boost elbow would never go past 31psi and after with the std. would go to 39psi) was hitting 44psi I have turned the boost down a little now. I flogged it a little yesterday (I could have been trying to burn my tires off, but I didn't try) and the egts only went to 1080*

I am gonnna have mine sent in to get it upgraded to race version in about a week. Tell me how "different" it is. Stomp the hell out of it, then report back to us. Need to know what to expect.

It's aggressive on every setting. I'm blowing more black than before, but I'm sure having fun doing it. It used to be hard for me to get my back tires to chirp on 100hp with the std., the Race is chirping them on the same hp setting.

On the chirps, I'm used to moving off so I really have to think about sitting there and spinning, but I was able to hit it last second in 2nd (used to not be able to do that) and 3rd with a roll (used to have to be slick out to do that). I haven't been on it to the top end (haven't been that brave yet)(although it has gone to 3500 with those chirps)

I had to turn that boost elbow down. I couldn't take hitting 44psi (or my turbo couldn't), so I dialed it down to 39. Between the boost elbow, forced induction (redid it yesterday with some duct tape), and the Quad Race, this is how a truck is supposed to feel. Injectors (40-70hp) and a F.A.S.S. are all that is left before my truck runs out of warranty, then a turbo set up and charge-air cooler is on the list. (maybe some stacking too)
