what is this, pressure box, chip, ect? who makes it and if it is a pressure box how does it compare to dr. p, ez, mp8? does it do pressure only or timing as well. Last thing how much do they cost, thanks

The X2 is a pressure/timing/duration module all in one. It is also customizable via web downloads so you can have pressure only, a smoke tune, a MPG tune, and there are others on the way. It is adjustable on the fly with 5 different settings.
The control pod has a built in fuel rail pressure gauge, boost gauge and coolant temp gauge.

In my opinion it is a very good module for the price.

thnks for the info guys. I mainly am looking for pressure only and i am not in need of a guage. what kind of power can you get with just pressure? with scarry larrry i definently dont need any more timing

The beauty of the X2 is that it can be used as your pressure box by installing the "Stacker" tune off their website, which is a pressure only boost fooler, and there is a Stacker with no boost fooling if that suits you better. Pressure on top of your programmer could get you another 25-40 HP, depending on what your RP reading is now.

I know it was stated before , but the X2 doesn't do any duration. It alters the RP, timing, and it boost fools. It only plugs into the MAP sensor and the RP sensor. If it did duration it would have to alter the signals in the injector harnesses, like the Juice and the TST.

It may not alter duration as much as using a system hooked into cam and crank sensors but it does still alter it...

It should give you in the area of 140hp by itself or around 80hp ish when stacked. I have one on my truck and it is the best pressure box I have tried thus far the only module out their I think can beat it is a tst. I have tried Dr. Perf, ts mp-8 and then old ramifier on my 03, sp diesel, ez, etc. I love the way it brings it in and is totally adjustable.

but wouldnt i have trouble if that does timing as well as scarry larry. I know s/l has a lot of timing and if that box does it too..... well i dont want to blow a head gasket

The X2 can be customized by you the end use to do what you want...the factory programming of it does do timing/pressure/duration and boost fooling however with a simple download of a program it can do pressure only with boost fooling, pressure only without boost fooling, etc, etc. There are several stacking programs and options. You can make it do what YOU want. You want pressure only you can make it do that. If later you decide you wanted more from it you can do that....

im running the presure only tune on it and it seems the presure is only added at higher rpms,i dont notice any dif on the rail gauge atcruising speeds on all levels,im hoping the new tunes that come out will have some presure only tunes that increase presure earlier for more throttle responce.i heard the smarty increases presure early for throttle reponce

also some people sye that quads timing advance is diferent or better or somthing so you may want to use a non timing tune on the tuner and use the x2s timing.

Load the stacker x2 software (pressure only) and use it with your 2.2.7 scary larry program to do all the timing and duration you can handle. You better get a set of studs b/c cylinder pressures are going to get really high. Stock turbo will crap out pretty soon as well.
