Okay, last night I removed the baffles in the stock torque tube, today i did the tone ring mod, added an airfilter and something is really different, not only does the turbo scream, but I can now smoke the tires out of second all the way through third and well into fourth and only move about a truck length, also I drove about 175 miles, both city and rural roads , resetting the overhead before I left and on return it reads 25.9. WOW, is it a total combination of all these or did one specific thing really help?

 

They probably all helped a little but the tone ring mod most likely helped the most. It did for me but I had to back it off some due to the cold weather causing too much timing rattle. I don't know if it will hurt the truck but I just don't like it....

How did ya like that, very, very easy and it sure beats paying $80 for the AFe torque tube huh ( no offense to those of you that have one)
