Just finished all my mods tonight except for some of the stuff I already had done and the tranny mods, that comes next week. I have not run my truck for about a month and man it is loud. I put in my injectors tonight and adjusted the valves while I was at it. The motor seems a lot louder than it was. Is this common with injectors, turbo, CP3 mod, etc? I triple checked my valve adjustments and the torque on all of the bolts. I know that nothing is loose. Or at least I hope not. Maybe it's just me.

 

Mine was way louder too. I thought something was wrong. Went back and re-adjusted everything, everything is within spec. Changed oil again, changed brands of oil, nothing changed. Resigned to fact that it's just the it is and nothing is wrong.

 

The turbo is considerably larger, that will make for a louder tone, along with additional fueling. IMO these trucks sound much better with aftermarket turbos on them, smoother note and considerably deeper.

 

Or you can get twins and quiet it all back down...
