The Workhorse By Dr Performance

I get quite a bit of farm magazine with ads this caught my eye. Diesel owners need a box that will give you more low rpm tq and 33% more fuel efficentcy. Try the WORKHORSE. It also says that you need no gauges or bigger exhust saving you money. No price or how much hp or tq you gain wondering if any of people on this site have heard about this thing? Wonder if it is any good? Says that it wont throw any codes either. ADD come out of the Agri-News. Almost a page explaining how this is the box to own. YOUR OPINIONS PLEASE??? THANK YOU.

Don't personally know anything about this box or there other stuff. That said, I have heard from lots of informed people that Dr. P at least a few years back was mostly a snake oil operation. Serious money for minimal gains. Hopefully someone with some real experiance can help you better.

I would still do guages regardless of what any ad says.

I have the Dr. P predetor series stage 2 in my '04. Pretty impresive box. Quite a bit increase in torque and fuel milage. I can average over 20 mpg's and am getting around 14-15 mpg in the city. It also gives the truck some gitty up when you step on the gas. For the price it was very well worth it. Hope that helps. The stage 2 is a 50 hp increase and I don't remember the torque increse. I haul a 16ft. trailer with all my tools and have had 2 ton in the bed when salting and she moves out very well.

oh yeah do you think that you will gain 33% on your fuel. Or is that just a sales pitch?

DR Performance is here in Weatherford, Texas..This area is BIGGG on Horses and has been for many years...Lotsa Horse money and some of the fanciest haulin rigs outfitted here locally..Point is, Dr Performance does a lot of business with these folks, and has been in tha game for a while..I bought the Predator Stage 4 a year and a half back, and was impressed with tha Booost in Torque & HP...I am not giving Ya a Infomercial, nor am I a Co Rep, but I have been associated with the Cummins line for 30 years in Class 6,7, & 8 Trucks.

Just my 2 cents

Later taters
