My truck was slower with the SMARTY than with the Hot Juice.

Thanks guys!!! I just ordered the Predator / Puck combo. At the price, it's pretty much unbeatable. I went to their forums and they seem more than agreeable to make custom tunes, etc... That impresses me. Anyway, I appreciate the feedback!!!

Thanks man. I a pretty gentle driver with the occasional stoplight run here and there... Really going for efficiency and responsiveness. I'm guessing (hoping?) she'll (clutch) last. I'm also going to run her on the middle tune and probably not even stack the puck but pass it along to a "friend" somewhere...... For $60 I had to get the combo even if I wasn't sure I wanted the puck.

Appreciate the feedback!!!

I ran the middle tune for around a year straight (100hp). Loved it. It's very hard not to put your foot into it more than normal... Very hard...and it leads to other things that are very costly... Like bigger turbos and stuff like that...

Speaking of that make sure you have at the very least an egt guage.

You can't but your first post said $500 bucks. $185 more and you get the reliability that is it "undetectable" that is worth it to me..

Undetectability may be important to some guys. Alot of us, though, have so many mods that there's no way we'd have a warranty anyway. I'm kinda a realist in that respect. Pop my hood and the only thing that looks stock is the valvecover.

Not to mention all the guages...

Shane,

Got it. I did say $500 was my limit. You're right.

I think the $360 puck combo skewed the whole analysis. I'm sure the Smarty is just fine. It's just that this is 1/2 the price. I went to the DiabloSport website and they're actively supporting it with new tunes, custom tunes, etc.... I just couldn't stomach double the price.

Thanks again for your input!

Looking forward to getting it!

-Jay
