Wiring a pillar guage(s) into factory harness
Could someone wire a pillar mounted guage light(s) into the factory wire harness plug, for the overhead cab clearance lights, under the factory driver side a pillar trim pannel, for on off use when hl/running lights are turned on?
What would the ground and positive, for the gauge light, be wired into (color code for the factory pos and neg in the wire harness) for a factory plug connection (without the outside cab lights).
What would be the part numbers for the factory matching plug and pins, for the soildering onto a gauge, to plug into the factory harness?

When I installed my gauges with the A pillar mount I tied the lights into the instrument dimmer switch wiring. In this way when I want to dim the instrument lights the additional gauge lights will dim also.
Use a test probe and dim your instrument lights to find the correct wire.
You can also do a search on this or another site and find instructions on how to do this.
