The wifes new hood
Hey guys,
A week or so ago there was a thread about hoods. My wifes new hood for her 05 wasn't done yet so I couldn't add hers to the tread. So insted of bringing that one back up I thought I would start a new one. Let us know what ya think. It should be cured up enough to put on her truck next week.

Hey guys,
I'm glad that ya all like it! I know the pics look good but I gotta say they don't do it justice. The pics were obviously taken inside under fluorescents. You should see it outside in the sun. As far as the work goes my wife and I came up with the plan but a good friend of mine is the artist. It's all custom paint. It was painted and taped between colors 15 times. It has 9 coats of clear that was wet sanded and buffed between every 2 coats of clear.
I almost don't want to put it on the truck.
If you look in my gallery you can see my wife's truck and the tailgate was done by the same guy. She is planning now the new paint for the tailgate. The fire breathing ram is going away to be replaced with a very patriotic scene. Something that shows our appreciation for the men and women in our military.
