Why would I use Bilstein 5100s?

A '98 does not even need shocks it is so rough!

XLR8...come on now!

250k on shocks????

The '98 spent most of it's life so far around 10K# curb weight... and the OEM shocks are still on it right now just outside the office door in the parking lot.

I had been planning to swap the '05's old (new) shocks onto the '98 - but now, you guys might shame me into buying Bilsteins for that, too!

Even though the 3rd Gens definitely have a nicer ride, I always thought the '98 wasn't too bad at all.

Hey,

As you can see im from mexico, and most of the roads down here are by 80% worse then in USA talking "pavement" so Dodge diesels have been out only since 06. and people are buying them ever sice a lot, but i hear so many complaints about shuttering and shaking (death wobble?)

would these Bilsteins help take that Dodge deffect out?

how do these compare to rancho 9000s?

I think you have been too near the Nitrous bottle mike! .. save the money for R&D for more goodies and put the old stockers off the 3rd gen onto the 98! LOL
