Why so many pusher pump topics?????

Are you guys starting to have problems with your fuel systems? What are some of the symptoms you are seeing that cause you to run a pusher pump? Is it just low fuel pressure showing on your guages?

Just wondering if I need to start worrying about this....

If you were to put on a fuel pressure gauge you'll see that you're probably at 0 psi of pressure with just your EZ at WOT. The fuel systems on these things need a push (pun intended) to make bigger hp.

I've been watching mine get more and more unstable when towing, and running wot "0" psi is pretty easy with the EZ and VA I'm running.

With an old 6 level EZ I have noticed that the engine sputters at half throttle now as opposed to WOT when the truck had less miles. At first I figured a new fuel filter will alleviate some of this.
Nope. Injectors are fine.

Just the other day the dealer asked me what I am doing for failed lift pumps on the 3rd gens.

Some of their warranty replacements are on their 3rd factory pump.

Here we go again.

I should note that from what the dealer stated...almost all of these trucks were stock and towed.

These trucks dont have much excess fuel to run much more hp than stock if any at all. So its not hard to run out of fuel with some moderate mods.

Exactly and the pump is at its max while towing on a stock rig.
I think that if you run something at its limits [stock or BOMBed] its gonna break sooner then later.
Good ole DC put the bare minimum in for a lift pump AGAIN!

I guess someone needs to make a HP lift pump so we don't need a pusher pump....
