why is my boost maxing out at 39psi

As you can see from my sig that I have a bit done to my truck,,I have now maxed out the boost setting on my turbo,, and still only showing 39 psi on my attitude monitor. Is there something wrong somewheres,, Ithought that this turbo would have lots more boost than that

thanks

Kevin

Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!................................ ..............Welcome to my delimma I posted a thread about this very soon after I bolted up the Phat Shaft. Seems the sensor and the ECM that the Juice gets it's reading off of pegs somewhere between 39-41psi. Trust me you got more boost than that. How many turns did you tighten that boost elbow screw??? They come preset at 40psi. Twest here says you get 2-3psi. rise for every 1/4 turn. I have mine cranked in a full complete turn so I know I'm about 50-52psi. Maxed out, They say these are capable of 60psi.

I would say that you are pushin a lot more boost than that. The attitude reads boost electronicly through the trucks factory sensor and the factory sensor only goes to 40ish ( I think). I have seen some guys on here that say they have seen 41. If you want a true boost reading you will need an analog guage.

You can read up to 45psi on a factory MAP sensor. I do not know why the attitude seems to stop at 39-40psi on most trucks?

If you go over 45psi then you need to measure the actual pressure.
