MBRP does make a 4" turbo back system for your '06. You just need to but the system for the '03-'04. I just went through this when I put the Cool Duals on. I ended up just going cat back, now I wish I would have removed the cat.

Any issues at all with installation?

The video sounded like it wasnt too loud - is that an accurate take on it?

ive heard mbrp 4" system on an 06 it was pretty quiet. it was a little louder than stock. I installed this system on an 01 it was very quiet inside and the kit fit was cake to install. I would consider mbrp it is quality exhaust.

No, it's not very loud...throaty and decently loud when you're mashing on the skinny pedal, but during normal acceleration, idle and when you flatten out your speed, it's pretty quiet. That is one of the main reasons I bought it. I drive a LOT and a LOT of my driving is on the highway and I would drive myself crazy if I had droning a lot on the longer trips. Even pulling 8-10k once the acceleration flattened out, I didn't have any drone.

The install was pretty simple. The only issue that I ran into (turned out to be nothing at all) was that the first hanger piece (tranny mount) didn't fit, so I took the rubber stock piece off altogether and mounted the rest without it. Also, the stainless steel pieces will slide apart after a while no matter how hard you torque them down (I'm assuming MOST are like that if not all of them) so I hammered them together from the back, spot welded where the pieces connect and welded a washer onto the tip of the last hanger just to make sure that it doesn't come out while I am offroading.

I bought a MBRP a catback system with a catalytic test pipe. Ended up leaving the cat on - didn't want the truck much loader than stock. Got a couple Harley's for that!

Hi Ghost Ram you find mostly cat back systems because the stock Down pipe is already 4" mandrel bent to the cat.
you can also get a cat delete pipe if you want maximum power & lower egts
