where to mount tst box?

where to mount tst box?

I ordered the tst performance chip with boost gage and pyro, i was wondering where you guys have been mounting the box so you can see the pyro and boost while driving?

some people put it in the ash tray, but mine is in the gauge cluster bezel in front of the fuel gauge. I can still see the fuel gauge and the TST remote fine.

under the fuel gauge and left of the steering column the plastic is recessed the exact size for the remote. The right side is the same size but not flat for good mounting. I like this spot because it looks excellent and is hid from everyone except the driver. Also feed the remote wire through ther firewall as the door like the directions say let wind noise in.

Not if you're clever about it I pulled the weatherstripping away, cut a notch in the pinch weld for the wire to pass through, filled the notch with black silicone, then set the wire in place, added a touch more silicone on top of the wire, and put the weatherstripping back on. No wind leaks, and no big hole needed in the firewall for the connector to pass through.
