This is where I mounted my TST controller. Line of site is good and can adjust it fairly easily. I used an L bracket and had to grind just a tad from the light switch dash piece so the wire would go through with out pinching.

It was an easy install.

 

I put mine right in the middle where it's super easy to see. Hey! Why is there a number 3 there? Mine always says 6 or higher....

 

I didn't ant to block something with it in the middle can't remember what. So i mounted it to the left as pictured. Only problem is the sun would shine in and I couldn't see it. Also the steering wheel seemed to always be in the way. So I took my ashtray apart and now have the controller in it. When someone else drives the ashtray stays closed with the box on 1/1 so they don't really notice the tranny work or the box. Then when I get in I open the ashtray door and put on what I like and have had no troulbe seeing it.

 

PS, I have mine on the opposite side because I'm right handed. I just wrapped a couple lengths of tape around it and no bracket it just sits there and has never moved a bit. Dzilla, I'm in the doghouse as mine sits on 1 x 5 most times for mileage but always ready for a skirmish. ks
