mine doesnt care if the quad is on, off, or any power level. i dont use it at idle, only for a wot run.
the new quad modules will have something slightly more productive and convenient that the smoke switch..

 

I used it today and never noticed too much of a difference. What does it actually do, just dump more fuel in than you can burn or what? Also how do you use it, do you just turn it on when you are givin it heck then turn it back off?
