As far as I know the smoke switch has only been figured out on the Quadzilla products. It's not an actual product you can buy, it's intentionally crossing some wires through a switch to fool your truck.

Quadzilla

I have a Quadzilla Standard Module, does anyone know how to add the switch? I like the way the module works now with very little smoke cause I haul a pretty nice horse trailer and don't want soot on it, but when I'm playing around I'd like to make some smoke. Also, how in the heck do ya add your truck information at the bottom of these posts?

Look on the bar at the top of the page. See where it says USER CP. Go in there and edit your signature.

Thanks Shakin Red, I think I got it now. Dodgezilla, It looks like my switch will just short the red wire to the dark blue wire. Is that where it plugs in to the map or the fuel rail?

Ditto on the map sensor, but do yourself a favor and make the connections inside the truck. Lot less wire to rub through or something. Mine ended up only about 10 inches long a piece. Went from switch on the dash to the box on the lower left side of dash. Needs a little more smoke (lasting longer I guess) for me, but hopefully quad will have something up his sleeve in the future?!

Okay, I done it. Started the truck up and turned the smoke switch on to see what I was gonna blow up and noticed that it misses like heck at idle. Does that just mean that you need to be pouring the coals to it when you flip the switch on. Probably throws a bunch of extra fuel to it that it can't handle at idle? I connected the switch to the dark blue and the red wire right at the module so the connections would stay dry. Also if all this is right, Does it matter what power level that you have on when ya throw the smoke switch?

Mine seems to like #3 the best, and I make sure the engine is warm when I do it. I have noticed that mine will lope a little at idle if I try it cold, but I don't do it anymore with the commander keeping me from getting to level 3 until the engine is warm.
