I'm getting ready to buy a Quad Race module but I'm told that it doesn't do any sort of boost fooling. If I can find one I'd like to buy an Edge Boost elbow to use in conjunction with the Quad. Anyone know where I can buy JUST the elbow??

 

You better double check with Quad because I'm under the impression all his modules do boost fooling.

 

I have an extra if you want it because both my Juice and EZ both came with one.

 

Bought mine off ebay for $20.
But ataboy may have a better deal!

Pauly, my understanding was that the Quad doesn't do anything for boost on 03-04 trucks because the wastegate has to be modified. When I had my Edge it was accomplished with a boost elbow, so I figure the same boost elbow should work with the Quad.

Called Edge and BS`ed them into sending me one for free. Just told them mine didn`t have one when I bought it (which it didn`t since I bought the EZ used) hehe.

May be worth callin them up Hoss.

 

I am buying the TST R49AP, does it have the boost fooler? Also, with stock head gasket, stock head bolts, what is a safe limit on boost for right now? After I get the TST installed, Super Phat Shaft 66 and Injectors are going on, and I figure I will need studs and a cometic. Correct me if I am wrong, thanks! I am still waiting on my GL392, and the Big Line Kit is on, so.....

 

My next step was to call Edge and see if they'd sell me one, but I think Ataboy is going to take care of me.

I used to have an Edge EZ and it came with one. I sort of wish I would have left it on the truck, but that wouldn't have been very fair to the guy I sold the EZ to.
