I'm sure a Cat dealer would be a good place to start

Big rig and heavy equipment repair shops.

Also think Nicktane (Duramax aftermarket shop) sells the filters.

What do ya do come out of the oe filter then go to the spin on and then to the pump? Where do you get the spin on filter adapter or what ever you call it?
Thanks,
Topper

I get mine at an International truck dealer. $17 for the 1R-0749 which is about twice as long as the 1R-0750.

Go look around on the Glacier Diesel Products web site. It will answer a lot of questions for you. I buy the 1R-750 from Empire Machinery--a Cat dealer.

The filter head can be bought the same place you get the filter in most cases. I got both of mine at Kenworth, however mine takes "O-ring to AN" fittings which are kinda expensive. The filter heads were under $20 but you can get the same ones at NAPA that have regular NTP type fittings. Depends on what type of hose your planning on using. I eliminated all my banjo fittings and replaced them with AN's so this setup worked for me.

I change my fuel filters at 10,000 miles. Changing filters is cheap insurance.
The 1R-0750 costs me $18.00 at the local Cat dealer.

I just changed mine at 26,000 miles but I was running two side by side. One alone has much greater filtering capacity than the stock fuel filter. I probably could have gone longer. I cut open one filter and found nothing that made me think otherwise.

Yes these are not dedicated fuel water separators filters, usually secondary fuel filters.

Where to find them:
