ABSOLUTELY, that is exactly what I needed. You gotta make it simple for the simple one in the crowd.

Thanks everyone for the help. This site is great.

centerlines

i called centerline directly. they have the 17x8.5" with 6" backspace on the 8ball model. they quoted me 297per. not sure if that was to the door or not? thats the wheel i am looking at and the specs were recommended by carli suspension for 37s with minimal rubbing

Those specs are about as good as you can get. Be sure to post pics when you're done.

next question

kmc has a new style out called the monster. the smallest they get is a 18x9. if i can get the 6" backspace, you think it will work?? i think i am going to settle on 35s so i dont run into gear issues and sluggishness off the line.

I have 17x9 KMC XD Series Hoss with 5.71" backspacing and they fit great. An 18x9 with 6" backspacing will be perfect. I saw a set of black 20" Monsters on a black Titan about a month back. They were taking pictures at my the shop I go to for the next catalogue. They looked pretty sweet!

High Offset Wheels

I too was looking for a high offset wheel and had limited success. Pro-Comp and Centerline (who apparently makes Pro-Comp wheels) were the only wheels I could find that had 6" of backspacing (+32MM offset). Tried buying Pro-Comp through 4-Wheel Parts. Apparently Pro-Comp stopped making the +32 offset wheels for 8-6.5 bolt pattern. No luck finding Centerlines either. I was about to give up and stumbled across Gear Alloy. They offered 17x9 and 18x9 wheels with a 5.98" backspacing and an offset of +25. From my calculations, they should extend only 31MM (1.22") beyond the stock wheel. American Tire Distributors (www.americantiredistributors.com) carries the Gear Alloy line (www.gearalloy.com). They have some sweet looking wheels. I ordered the 714c Locker in 18x9 w/Nitto Terra Grappler 285/65R18 E rated tires through a local tire shop. Should be here this week. This wheel with the fairly mild tire size increase should keep them just under the wheel well without sticking out. I will post some pics when I get them installed.

Is anyone running a 18x9 with 5" BS on a truck with about a 4" Lift?

I am going to run 35" and was wondering about any rubbing, etc. We will have adjustable control arms to push the axle forward a bit. I will most likely end up running flares for now to cover the tire, but will end up with glass fenders eventually.

Can anyone comment on whether or not you have a similar setup, and if you see any rubbing or otherwise negative effects?

I had them for about a week with 2" of lift and had lots of rubbing. You'll probably be okay with a 4" lift and longer control arms. And once you get glass fenders you'll be ready for 37s.

Im still looking around and have another question...how much less would a wheel with 0mm offset and 4 1/2 bsm stick out over a wheel with +2mm offset and 4 1/2 bsm? Would it still be as noticeable or would it tuck in under the fender better?

If the answer is that it will stick out 2mm less, sorry I asked

Realistically they will stick out the same. I suggest when comparing wheels you concentrate on one measurement or the other, but not both. Comparing offsets is better because it is not affected by different rim widths like backspacing. Check out this diagram, it's very helpful. Pay particular attention to how rim width and diameter are measured, then where rim backspacing is measured.

You're looking for something like the Mojave's, right? Have you checked with Weld Racing? I can't remember the model name, but they have a wheel similar to the Mojave. They cost quite a bit more, however. I'll keep an eye out and if I find anything I'll let you know.

I appreciate your help. I wanted the mojaves, but was told that the bajas would fit better, so I ordered them. We fit tested them and they looked horrible. They stuck out way too far. I spoke with a few different people at various wheel manufacturers, and they advised that they will be making wheels for our trucks with the correct backspacing but that they were still a few months off. We will see
